About

Logan Singo is a Virginia-based artist. They grew up in a forgotten town in southwest Virginia, surrounded by forest and barren fields. Their upbringing is apparent in their painted backgrounds of places from memory, which they revisit in a haze of uncertainty. The artist contends with the unpleasant circumstances of the human condition, which play a leading role in the situations they paint. These past recollections have driven their incentive for creating the work they produce at present.

Singo holds a BS in Theatrical Design and an MFA in painting from Radford University. They are currently an Adjunct Professor at Radford University. They have exhibited work in galleries across southwest Virginia, including a solo show at Art by Moseley in Chesterfield. As well as numerous group exhibitions at The Fine Art Center in Pulaski, the Tyler Art Museum in Radford, the Annual Sidewalk Art Show in Roanoke, and the Blackbird Collective in Richmond. Singo was formerly represented by the Fine Art Center in Blacksburg.
